FFA offers many different contests to members. Leadership Development Events (LDEs) in the fall are meant to develop public speaking and advocacy skills. Career Development Events (CDEs) in the spring are meant to develop specific career skills. And, Speaking Development Events (SDEs) in the late spring are meant to develop research, literacy and speaking skills.
